The installation E davvero incredibile come non se ha più voglia di fingere a un certo momento was created especially for the exhibition La Trilogia Esistenziale. This project was curated by Maria Cristina Strati and dedicated to Michelangelo Antonioni’s Existential Trilogy-La notte (1961), L’avventura (1960) e L’eclisse (1962). In particular my work is inspired by the 1961 movie La Notte.

When I was invited to participate in this show, this piece was my first inspiration. My interest in this film is the personal and social crisis that the main characters of the film go through. They  hurt each other, however, they are unable to express their pain and they cannot communicate. This work includes a series of frames with some words cut on glass. When I try to sculpt on the glass this phrase: !It is really incredible how you can get to a point where you don’t feel like pretending any more “, the glass breaks, but the glass don't fall down because they are kept together by a wooden frame.

This work reflects on the fragility of our relationships and that in most cases what keeps a cuople together is the environment – family, home-house, religion –; external isues that are represented by the frames in this work, as a support of a situation that is about to break
